believed our so called democracy would degenerate into an oligarchy
controlled by less than 1% of the population by 1984. He also knew about basic
human needs that go beyond a bowl of porridge
and a roof to keep the rain away. He understood the need need for sunshine and a
sense of purpose. When Reagan lifted the restraints
on capitalism monopolies thrived, and the hope of a sun
based economy died along
with the solar bank
bill proposed by Jimmy Carter... BUT we can't blame all our
social problems on politicians who buckle under the pressure of special
interests lobbies. We can only blame ourselves for the mess we are in. BUT... we don't
have to be sheep any longer. We can learn to read
between the lines. After the Kennedy's
were assassinated and the Nixon administration took over and removed us from the
gold-standard
our economic system had no legs to stand on. The additional assignations
of Martin Luther King and John Lennon also weakened the reform movements. By the
time the Bush
Dynasty took over and the 9/11 fiasco led us into an unjust war the housing market/bail out
scam was ready to collapse our fragile economic system, but we can still rise from the ashes
and build a more viable green energy economy if we understand how our Brave
New World works. We may even be able we'll be able to play the game with the big boys. This is what the
